Company History: Our Roots in North American Stage Rally
Lambda was founded in 2018 by Mechanical Engineer Jared Halpin. With years of experience in a variety of engineering roles, and over 13 years of experience working on Subaru vehicles, Jared works to ensure that the company is a reliable and knowledgeable source of information, is clear and attentive in its communication with customers, attentive to detail, and capable of tackling complex troubleshooting problems.
2018 also marked the year of Lambda's first North American Stage Rally event, sparking an even deeper passion for the Subaru brand and for the thrill of motorsport. The following years would bring more opportunities to grow and build a pit crew team to carry Lambda-1, Lambda Motorsport's stage rally vehicle built in-house, through a multitude of events across North America. In between rallies, Lambda-1, a heavily modified 1995 Subaru Impreza WRX STi Type RA, could be seen ripping up at a variety of track events in local Manitoba. Participation in local events such as Time Attack and Ice X, highlighted the importance of motorsport being accessed through a variety of avenues by the local enthusiast community. Since then, it has been our mission to be a trusted and reliable gateway to unforgettable experiences in the region, no matter the motorsport you take an interest in.

We understand that many projects can be tackled by someone working from their home garage, but some projects such as building a custom engine, performing custom modifications to major vehicle components, or ECU tuning can seem intimidating. For many Subaru enthusiasts, their car is their 'baby', and sometimes the modifications or maintenance required to attain their goals can seem intimidating or "scary". However, with our years of experience, commitment to excellence, and careful attention to detail, you can feel confident that your vehicle is safe in our hands.
